Its roots can be traced from the mining fields in the jungles of South America. A.I.D.C. was formally incorporated in 1980 in the State of Florida. Today it is diverse in all aspects of the diamond industry and provides its own published books on the subject of diamonds. Its emphasis is grounded in offering an education in the diamond industry that is second to none. A.I.D.C. graduates are considered the finest craftsmen in the art of diamond cutting and polishing. In recent years A.I.D.C. has been providing a service for investors that wish to develop a diamond portfolio. The Institutes unique position in the industry has allowed it to provide a diamond investment service that gives the client the best possible value with the most flexibility.

What investment services does A.I.D.C. provide?

A.I.D.C. has limited its investment services to the diamond industry only. In doing so, it is able to obtain the best value for its clients.

The following diamond services are offered.

  1. Consultation and Purchasing Agent for Diamond Investments. This service is two-fold. First, the client can request the type of diamonds that he/she would like to purchase. The specifics of color, clarity, size and cut can be decided mutually, based on the client’s requirements. The institute will then locate the specific diamond with a recognized laboratory grading report and then negotiate a wholesale price for the client. Second, if the client has a diamond that he/she would like to purchase, the Institute will assist, on the clients behalf, to obtain the diamond at the best possible price.
  2. Appraisals and marketing on any diamond investment. The Institute will appraise diamonds for clients that have the need for insurance or resale purposes. A.I.D.C. will also assist in the sale and marketing of diamonds for its clients.
  3. Investments in diamond mining companies. This segment of investments is for clients that are looking for long term investments with high return probability. Diamond mining companies are selected and suggested on a wide variety of prerequisites. Some of which include the following:
  1. Minnig history
  2. Geographic area and location of mine
  3. Past returns on clients investments

Note: Prospective clients in diamond mining investments need to be aware that these types of investments are high risk by nature. Minimum investment amounts may be required by some companies.

Commission and Fees

A.I.D.C., Inc. charges a nominal fee for services that are provided for its clients. The fee schedule is as follows: (In some cases there are no fees).

Note: Shipping and insurance expenses, when incurred, are th responsibility of the client.  

How does the client make an Investment Purchase?

  1. Contact the Institute:
    1. By phone at 954-574-0833 or by E mail at Diamondcutting@worldnet.att.net
    2. State the type of diamond purchase or investment you would like to make.
    3. Discuss the parameters in which you would like to make this investment.
    4. Discuss any other pertinent questions you have or would like advice on.
    5. The client will need to leave their phone number and either fax number or e-mail address.
  2. Wait three to five business days for the Institute to negotiate a wholesale price on the investment item.
    1. After the best price is negotiated, the Institute will contact you by phone, or e-mail.
    2. The client will then decide that if all of his/her requirements are met, whether to consummate the purchase on behalf of the client.
    3. At this time a purchase agreement will be signed by the client. This can be accomplished by fax.
    4. All necessary invoices, grading reports, and relevant papers can be faxed, or e-mailed to the client for review and inspection.
  3. Arrangement for payment by the client will now need to be made.
    1. This can be accomplished by credit card, wire transfer, money order or cashier's check.
    2. Once payment is made, the diamond purchased, along with all original independent grading reports will be sent by insured mail to the client.
    3. Merchandise can also be collected in person.
